Zoo Ahoy Maps Possibly a 1930s issueOriginal, and very uncommon, travel poster, Zoo Ahoy, designed by John Burningham for London Transport and published in 1961. The design features a model of Noahs Ark made by Burningham, complete with plasticine animals, set on a tissue paper sea, with text advertising trips to the Zoo in Regents Park and at Whipsnade. Before finding international fame as a childrens author and illustrator, John Burningham designed nine posters for London Transport.
